Video: Michael Pollan, Taking a Plant's Perspective
Posted February 17th, 2008 by paul
I always enjoy Michael Pollan's perspectives. He's someone who seems to be really clued in about the bigger picture, but often manages to end with a positive note that has some real substance.
In this 17-minute talk he relates a cool insight he discovered as he was apprenticing on Joel Salatin's permaculture farm:

very cool video
Hey Paul, Thanks for the link. What an amazing insight and way to look at things. And Joel Salatin's farming IS a whole other dimension beyond "organic." This way of thinking not only challenges our notions of being at the top of the evolutionary heap but also our notions of being separate. Both of those have led to where we are now. It's great to see what possibilities arise when we step out of those notions. Thanks again.
