Book Lists and Submedia
Tim, Sally, in my times of posting about much of these topics and telling people about Quinn, Jensen, your film, etc., I've had so few actually respond at all, let alone positively. But one has not only ordered your film, but are asking me to put on my site a special list of books of all those mentioned on your film, as well as other recommended titles by the people who spoke in your film.
Is there a way I could get a list from you? I'd love to set it up in my site's Amazon store, as well as just know it. I'm about to begin Mander's In the Absence of the Sacred as soon as I'm done with Jensen's Language Older than Words. Which, I might add, is still a powerful piece. Jensen keeps surprising me with how he can take such amazing things I can't even express all that well, and wording them in ways I'll be using for years to come. I wish I had half his brains!
Also, I wondered if you two have ever seen the show IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT AND I FEEL FINE, as is presented by Stimulator, found at http://submedia.tv ? Derrick Jensen has appeared on that show (and if I'm not mistaken, the guy who wrote The Oil We Eat as well). I think it'd be a great place to speak more about your film and spread awareness of it. I know I hope to be on his show eventually too.
Just a couple of ideas!

Books and stuff
Hey PB,
If you will click on our links and resources page (http://www.whatawaytogomovie.com/links-and-resources/) you'll find books and other documentaries and links to websites that either directly provided resource material for the movie or that we have found helpful since. You are free to copy any of that or just provide the link from your website.
Hope that helps.
Best,
Sally
Perfect! I didn't think to
Perfect! I didn't think to look for it on the site already. Course, I'm almost finished with this fun little flu bug, so I've been kinda dumbass mode lately, but I'll forward that to her. Thanks!
