Creating local Tribes

Greetings to all,

I believe that physical proximite is vital. The work we do on the internet is important as evidence of where it has gotten us thus far but there is still the matter of choping wood and carrying water. So, i would like to know where my fellow Mutant meat bags are in proximity to where i am. Roger Davis

Although I have some friends in the Albany area I haven't been able to travel much lately, mostly because of the fact that my baby hates the car. She's helping to wean me off of petroleum dependence, see. Smart baby. Believe me, it's a huge incentive to not drive when there's an unhappy baby involved. Plus we don't have any readily available public transportation options. Oh, and the muffler just fell off the car anyway. I am starting to think I need a horse and sleigh. I'm in Toronto, Ontario at the moment, and have family in Cobourg, just northeast of here. I don't intend on staying here for that much longer; perhaps beginning in March I'd like to be visiting farms and intentional communities down south, in the US and/or Mexico (or beyond), as a means of inspiration for starting my own community or joining an existing one. I see myself ending up in BC in the longer term, but that's subject to change.
